Was due a little update 📸☺️👩🏻‍⚕️✨

Independent Nurse Prescriber and Clinic Founder Karen (Kay) Buen (RN,INP) has nearly 10 years experience as a medical aesthetic specialist, and 16 years as a nurse, so rest assured, you are safe in her hands!

After leaving school, Karen initially studied and worked in Beauty Therapy, later training in the specialised ‘Media Make Up’ for film and television, as well as photography. Drawn towards the arts and beauty, it is clear to see where she has got her ‘aesthetic eye’ from! As the years went on, Karen decided that she wanted to explore other career options, and was particularly drawn towards caring roles, with a love and passion for kindness and helping others. This led to her nursing degree, and a complete career change!

Karen initially graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a Bsc Honours Degree in General Adult Nursing. She developed an interest in Public Health and went on to complete a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification, achieving a distinction at Masters level. Karen then spent several years working for the NHS, but always felt a pull back to her beauty roots...this led to her exploring medical aesthetics, the perfect blend of both her career choices!

Karen entered into the industry with guidance and support from industry professionals, and has developed into a skilled, professional and competent practitioner in her own right.

After working in aesthetics for several years, Karen decided to go back to university again for the third time, to gain her Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification. This qualification focused on the medical aesthetics speciality and she graduated in 2018, again achieving a distinction at masters level for her final dissertation. After years of commitment and dedication, Karen has fast become a highly sought after practitioner with a natural aesthetic eye, and meticulous attention to detail. Clients remark how her gentle, calm and kind presence helps to reassure them throughout their treatment journeys.
