✨Remember ... the time is now if you have slipped

Don’t wait until Monday to start again.

Stop putting off what’s important to you.

Prioritise your health and your goals, and stop the all or nothing mentality.

You are human. No journey is perfect.

So be kind to yourself. Don’t let a bump in the road be an excuse to walk away yet again, and pause, and wait to start over again.

You are worthy of the extra effort to pick yourself up and carry on!

If you fall in a bucket of hot chips, or a bath of ice cream, brush yourself off and forgive yourself as it’s what you do next that counts!

You’ve got this 💪

You are enough.

It’s true.

Just as you are, right this minute, you are enough as you are.

However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop trying to better yourself, or to become a healthier version of yourself, mentally and physically. But you CAN learn to do these things with LOVE for yourself.

Body positivity and striving towards our healthiest weight/self don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

Why can’t we learn to love our bodies as they are now why trying to eat healthier, work out/move in a healthy way and strive to be the best versions of ourselves but done with self-love and not self-hate?

I’ve had a client with weight related health conditions follow body positivity pages and declare she is going to work on body acceptance, and stop with any form of ‘dieting’ or even ‘exercise’ and just ‘be’. Fine, in theory, as I’m all for body positivity, self-love, self-acceptance and the normalising normal bodies in the media movement. However, she came back to me a year later even more unhappy with herself and another 15 kgs overweight. So I ask, why can’t we merge the two? Why make the word ‘diet’ such a sin, because that’s what is often needed ‘a healthy diet’, if we improve the nutrition, we don’t just look better, but we FEEL better. Who doesn’t want better energy and improved sleep, and then let the rest follow ❤️

It’s not a sin to want to improve your eating habits, and whether thats via intuitive eating, counting your macro’s or following a supportive more structured plan like ours. It’s whatever works for you! We are all so different, and at different weights with different issues! So let’s all stop with the judgement, and learn to do whichever path we choose with love for ourselves and respect for other peoples choices.

What a wonderful quote…

The only moment where you can change anything about your life is now.

What you do right now, will have an impact on your future self.

Make good choices now and your future self will thank you…

It’s almost [ ] lovely slimmers! 💕⁣⁣⁣

Here are some top tips for surviving Valentine’s Day when you’re on plan;⁣⁣⁣

💗 Plan ahead — I know, romance is supposed to be all about spontaneity, but unfortunately this is likely to leave you with a lot less options when your choices are already narrowed by dietary requirements! If you are planning a romantic night at home, use your Steps Book as a guide, make sure you know exactly what foods to have for your current Step. Perhaps use an app to calculate calorie amounts beforehand, this will help keep you on track.⁣⁣⁣ ❤️

💗 Make the effort — attentiveness is romantic. Why not prepare a special meal at home rather than getting sucked into an expensive takeaway? You can make sure that everything is suitable and perfectly prepared, and you might just earn some extra brownie points as well. This way you can make sure that everything is on plan.⁣⁣⁣ ❤️

💗 Not just for couples - Valentines Day is a good opportunity for you to treat yourself and practice self-care... take a soothing shower or bath with special bath salts or a body scrub. Play music that makes you happy. Plan something that you will enjoy that doesn’t involve food.⁣⁣⁣ ❤️

💗 Chocolate is not off the menu — there is a varied range of chocolate products to choose from this Valentines.

If you fancy something extra special, why not turn a Chocolate Shake into a yummy Chocolate Mousse (using the Mix-a-Mousse) or tuck into some Salted Caramel Bites 😋⁣⁣⁣

Hopefully these little tips will help you on your quest for the perfect Valentine’s Day, whilst sticking to plan. ❤️

Most importantly, relax and enjoy yourself! 💕💕💕⁣⁣⁣

Start today by giving your body the hydration it craves—because every sip of water is a step closer to your weight loss goals! 💧

Drinking enough water not only fuels your metabolism but also keeps hunger at bay, making it easier to stick to your plans. Imagine your body feeling energized, your skin glowing, and your digestion working smoothly—all thanks to the simple act of drinking water.

🚰 Today is the perfect day to prioritize yourself and your health.

Fill up your glass, keep it by your side, and let every sip remind you that you’re moving toward a stronger, healthier version of you.

You’ve got this! 💦

This is a tricky time of year if you’re following a diet plan, maintaining your weight loss, or just generally needing to watch your weight.

The best advice I can offer is to simply do the best you can do, while being kind to yourself.

When I say be kind to yourself, I’m not suggesting that you give yourself permission to treat your body as a rubbish bin.

Quite the opposite. You are worth more.
I’m suggesting that kindess is treating your body with the respect it deserves. Being kind to yourself is eating foods that are high in nutritional value, that nourish your mind, body and soul instead of diminishing them. That’s real kindess.

So when you’re surrounded by all those tempting foods and drinks, please remember, your real friends are water, lots and lots of it, along with real foods, the protein and veggies as listed in your Step 2 and 3 lists, and of course your 1:1 Diet products that are nutritionally balanced, and help you stay full.

These are the foods that will love you back. The alcohol, the carby, surgary, fatty and fried food, just make you feel and look bad, so try your best to stay clear of the foods that are not your weight loss friends.

Do the best you can through this tricky period, and stick to the foods that love you back and that you aren’t still wearing the next day. Switch your thinking when you are seeking comfort from foods. Fill up on the healthy stuff and think of that as your comfort 💕

The time is now to take action, even if just one of these are implemented at a time:

✨ Minimum 2.25 litres of water per day - water is you secret weapon - the more you drink the more your appetite and you shrink!
✨ in just 3-4 short days if you stick to plan and stabilise your blood sugars again, you will be feeling back in control, no longer bloated and back in the zone. 3 days to feeling good again. You can turn this around, know that you have the power.
✨ Get moving. Something as easy, free and simple as 30 mins a day of walking can make a huge different to your physical and mental health. Make time for it, even if in 2 blocks of 15. Every step counts.
