I wanted to say happy new year and thankyou to all the wonderful patients I have been fortunate to transform in 2025, many of which were post partum restorations (mummy makeovers) or body contouring after weight loss. Over 150 new and over 2 million Instagram views this year (and not a bot or purchased like in sight!) - there are a lot of less scrupulous individuals online - so beware!

I am hoping the representative ‘before’ shots (day of surgery where possible) and after shots (often provided by my fantastic patients) on as wide a range of individuals as possible is a good way to continue in 2026. Any suggestions or requests are welcome!

Keeping a theme of amazing long term follow ups..
Some patients stand out for their positive mental attitude and just being positive , engaged and fantastic through the whole process - this lady is one of these.
No words are needed to see the positive life changing consequences of controlled slow weight loss (patient factors) plus a professionally executed operation (surgeon factors). This lady had a mastopexy , multi area liposuction and an abdominoplasty just over 3 years ago. Over 2kg of skin and fat was excised and close to 1kg of lipisctuon.

Fantastic day of operating today on breasts and tummies and it was brilliant to see joining the .orthopaedicinstruments team working across South Wales. He’s clearly bought his elite sports mentality to the role and is consuming knowledge and improving patient care by working closely with surgeons in a range of disciplines. Always good to talk rugby with someone who has been there and done it - 5th highest points scorer of all time for 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and over 80 caps playing across the whole back line 💪

It was great to meet Welsh Rugby royalty today at the match - a great guy who has achieved so much in the sport - ex🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 captain , most capped Welsh Fly Half of all time (112) and double lions tourist. It’s great to see him doing so well in his post playing career. Sharing rugby insights with him was a great experience as always. .rugby

I am very pleased that this important paper has been accepted this week. I have spent the last few years doing literally hundreds of ‘post partum restoration’ operations - and the positive psychological and functional improvements in patients has been stunning . It’s been such a honour to be part of the journey - after children , weight loss and many having negative body images for years- seeing ladies beaming in follow up and sending photos has been uplifting. It has become very clear this is a not a cosmetic operation- and the benefits are varied and impactful. I hope the more ladies and partners / family members who read this article .. the lower the prevalence of ‘mummy guilt.’

Thanks so much to one of my amazing patients for sending a follow up photo out of the blue at 3 years to thank me for changing her life. I can’t tell you how much this brightens up my day. We are both delighted with the life changing results. For those who don’t believe it is the same lady… can you see the scar from a previous operation in the upper right abdomen.. how it is tethered and high before the tummy tuck.. and now how it is harder to see and much less indented..this photo is evidence to ‘trust the process’ it is a rollercoaster of emotion , but if you make the big decision to go ahead with surgery .. and can look after your mental and physical strength in the post op recovery period - the results are life changing!!
