Thea takes Player of the Week for the u8s 🏆⚽

Absolutely rock solid in defence as always 🛡️ but this week there was another level to her performance. Game after game, her opponents simply couldn’t find a way past her — calm, composed, and completely in control at the back.

What really stood out was her decision-making. Every time the pressure was on, Thea chose exactly the right option — whether that meant clearing her lines at the perfect moment or confidently playing through to start an attack.

And then there’s the quality on the ball… 👏
That assist for Rosie’s goal? Pure class. Vision, ex*****on, and timing all rolled into one.
Easily one of the best we’ve seen.

Galaxy 1-0 Sandfields - A great game to kick off the day, both teams playing some wonderful football, Reeva with the only goal of the game AND WHAT A FINISH IT WAS!, we defended well throughout the game and some great saves in goal by Tillie kept our opponents out!

Galaxy 1-0 Port tennant- another solid performance from both teams, again we played some great football and a great finish by Rosie Ellery which started from the back with a great ball from Thea onto Reeva who squared it for Rosie to finish, another solid performance defensively again from ourselves and Evie keeping guard in goal for our second clean sheet of the day 💪💪

Galaxy 0-2 Penlan- the most entertaining game of the day, how we didn't score I don't know, our attacking play was fantastic but 2 great goals by penlan were the difference after Rosie j had a great performance in goals, but nothing could be done about the 2 strikes against us

Player of the week- Thea- outstanding performance all morning by Thea solid is defence as per usual and the pass that lead to Rosie E's goal is one of the best we've seen, well done Thea!!!

This team is genuinely getting better every week, the football is getting so much better and the positioning and structure we have is getting noticed by every club we play, keep going team you are superstars every single one of you 💜

A bright and sunny 10am start for our girls, with two new faces added to the squad 💜

Galaxy 3 – 0 Penllergaer
The girls were quick out of the blocks with some great passing and attacking play. Lily really shone in this game, showing great awareness and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet. Our two engines drove us to the win, Daisy adding the first with Beca-Mai grabbing two — both were superb.

Galaxy 2 – 1 Sandfields
Another strong performance from the girls. They kept their composure and got the result they deserved. Great goals from Summer and Lily, with Lily getting a well-earned finish.

Galaxy 2 – 2 Camford
A real show of character in this one. The girls went 2–0 down but never gave up, fighting all the way back. Summer pulled one back, and Beca-Mai capped off her day with another goal — making it three across the games. Fantastic resilience and attitude from the whole team.

As the girls prepare to step into U10s next season, we’ve got no doubts they’ll hit the ground running. A big mention to our new players, Gracie and Ava-Grace, who both did brilliantly in their first game in the Galaxy purple. The addition of new players only strengthens the squad, and today’s performances showed just how much potential this group has.

They were absolutely brilliant today 💜👏

🏅 Week 10 POTW – Lily
From the first whistle, Lily was on it. A fantastic performance, not just for her goal but for her running, passing, attacking play and defensive work too.

This was a tough decision for us this week, so we couldn’t separate the two. Daisy was outstanding in defence and attack with some great tackles and passing, while Summer impressed with her goals and excellent awareness on the ball.

Both worked incredibly hard today and fully deserve the recognition — well done girls 💜👏

🏅 Week 8 POTW – Hattie
Hattie was outstanding today — full of energy, confidence and drive. She worked tirelessly for the team and was a constant threat going forward. A very well-deserved Player of the Week 💜

🏅 Week 7 POTW – Lacey
A fully deserved Player of the Week for Lacey. She’s our trusted goalkeeper, but her talents certainly don’t stop there. She showed today how strong she is as an outfield player too, and on two occasions was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.

🏅 Week 6 POTW – Daisy
A fully deserved Player of the Week for Daisy. Her consistent effort in both defence and attack really stood out today. Playing up a year, she never once looked out of place and battled for every single ball.

What can I say — since joining us, Seren has been eager to learn and never afraid to put herself out there on the pitch. Today she really showed how far she’s come with a confident, well-rounded performance. A brilliant effort and fully deserved 💜

🏅 Week 4 POTW – Izzy
Izzy’s defensive contributions today were second to none. She was outstanding throughout and capped off her performance with a well-deserved goal.

🏅Week 3: Lily & Daisy
This week was impossible to call. Lily showed real composure in front of goal and took her chances beautifully, while Daisy’s pressing, positioning, and work rate off the ball were top class. Both fully deserved it! 💜

The U13 were away against Cwm Wanderers this morning and the girls were determined to keep their position at the top of the table.

We were on top of the game from the off and were rewarded with a goal after 12 minutes when Daisy put Skye through to put us 0-1 in front. Skye got a second goal 4 minutes later and completed her hat-rick on 20 minutes with an assist from Millie followed by a fourth goal 1 minute lasted after an assist from Lexie taking us into half time 0-4 in the lead.

We went into the second half looking to put the game to bed but credit to Cwm they didn’t give up and got a goal back to try and bring them back into the game. Galaxy continued to be dominant and created a good few chances with Skye back on the score board again with another assist from Millie on 59 minutes to put us 1-5 in front. The girls continued to keep their foot on the gas with Millie picking up goal number 6 with an assist from Evelyn and Millie again for goal number 7 with an assist from Evelyn taking us into a 1-7 victory on the final whistle.

Cracking game today from the U13 and with 3 games left they have it all to play for 💜

Player of the Week

Amazing effort from all the girls this morning with a few girls up for the award this week however coaches did award it to Chloe-Ann who had a fantastic game in the centre of midfield today. She was strong in her tackles, tracked back when needed, made some great passes and her first touches today were outstanding - well done Chloe-Ann 💜

Today our U11s returned to Ysgol Glan Y Môr for another set of 9-a-side fixtures as part of their preparations for next season. The girls faced Cwm Wanderers and Mumbles in two enjoyable games, continuing their development in the new format.

Galaxy 3 – 0 Cwm Wanderers

Galaxy came out of the blocks full of energy and intent, starting the game on the front foot. The girls moved the ball really well, linking up with some excellent one-twos and showing great confidence in possession.

The defence looked calm and composed throughout, taking their time on the ball and picking out the right passes to build attacks from the back. That confidence spread right through the team and set the tone for a strong performance.

When called upon, Mya in goal was outstanding, pulling off some fantastic saves and showing great bravery and awareness to protect the clean sheet.

Going forward, the attackers worked tirelessly and looked dangerous every time they pushed forward. Their strength, hold-up play and willingness to shoot paid off, with Galaxy finding the net three times. One standout moment came from a well worked short corner routine, with Emily playing it short before Amy took a touch and unleashed a brilliant strike.

A really confident and complete performance to secure the win and a clean sheet.

Galaxy 1 – 2 Mumbles

Galaxy started the second game exactly how they finished the first, full of confidence, energy and positivity. The girls continued to pass well, tackle strongly and communicate effectively across the pitch.

The opening goal came after a great attacking move, with Sofia striking first time to force a save from the keeper. Lola reacted quickest to the rebound, finishing brilliantly off the bar to give Galaxy the lead.

Mumbles responded well and managed to pull a goal back before adding a second shortly after. Despite the scoreline, Galaxy created some of the better chances and remained a real threat throughout.

It was an end-to-end game with both teams showing great effort and quality, and plenty of positives to take from the performance.

The defending across both games was excellent, with the girls showing great organisation, composure and determination. The back line worked brilliantly together to close down space, make important interceptions and stay strong in challenges, while also looking to play out from the back with confidence.

This week’s Player of the Week goes to Sofia! 👏💜

Sofia put in a fantastic all-round performance this week, leading the line brilliantly as our striker. Not only did she work hard up front, but she also showed great awareness by dropping into midfield when needed to support her teammates and help the team stay connected. 🌟⚽️

Her attitude was outstanding from start to finish, and her communication on the pitch really stood out, constantly encouraging others and helping organise the team. Sofia showed real strength in holding the ball up under pressure, bringing others into play with excellent vision and unselfish passing. 💪💜

To top off an already impressive performance, she capped it all with 2 goals and an assist, an incredible contribution to the team! 👏⚽️

The u7s were up early and headed over to Cwrt Herbert for a 9am start. Sunday morning football is wayyyyyyy better with the Sun out! ☀️

They faced some great teams today, with every game being super close and competitive 👏 A narrow 2–0 loss to CKSV kicked things off, but the girls dominated possession and were unlucky not to convert their chances — a really strong performance 💪

Next up was a tough match against a very strong Mumbles side. Despite a 4–0 result, the girls never stopped battling and showed fantastic determination. They came off with their heads held high 💜

They saved their best for last though, securing a brilliant 2–1 win against local rivals Gorseinon! 🔥 An outstanding team performance, with great goals from Rosie & Reeva 👏

🌟 This weeks Super Squad: Rosie, Sofia, Evelyn, Jennifer, Reeva & Clara...every single player could have been Player of the Week.. amazing effort all round! Fantastic passing, super strong tackling, and brilliant runs with the ball ⚽

An early kick off for our 12s this morning away to Pontardulais Black in a top of the table clash.

Galaxy started the game in control with some nice play and movement, we got the ball in key positions in the final third with some near misses and hitting the woodwork twice, some fantastic defending and goalkeeping at the other end aswell with edge of the box clearances and interceptions as went into the break.

Galaxy were fired up in the 2nd half chasing everything down, much calmer on the ball with some lovely play dribbling and finding space for each other and if wasn't for some great goalkeeping by the opposition we could of been a couple ahead, a few dangerous corners and long throws caused them problems hitting the woodwork on two more occasions, a nicely played ball into the box was struck nicely into the net and we thought we'd taken the lead however the ref called handball and scratched it off with 5 minutes left.

We continued to press and remanied disciplined at the back with great communication between defence and goalkeeper with some nice edge of the box collections in the end we shared the points in a 0-0 draw.

A fantastic cleansheet, and we were unlucky not to take all 3 points today, the girls played really well and deserved the W but wasn't meant to be.
