🌷EASTER PARTY 🌷
3RD OF APRIL - 2:30pm-4pm

We would like to invite families and friends to join us for a lovely Easter gathering. There will be live music by Rocks, a special visit from some adorable animals from Will’s Farm, and a delicious Easter buffet with refreshments. Don’t forget to bring the little ones along for some Easter fun! See you there.🐣🌱💐

We had an incredible Cultural Day event on the 20th of March, thoughtfully organised by our staff.💓 It was wonderful to see everyone come together to celebrate and take part in such a special event. Staff proudly shared their traditions, wearing vibrant traditional outfits and performing songs and dances for our residents and families, filling the room with energy and joy. Everyone was also invited to try a delicious selection of traditional taster dishes from the buffet. Thank you to everyone who contributed and made the day so memorable, it was a wonderful reminder of the richness and diversity within our community 🌍🥙💃🏼

ANNUAL EASTER BONNET COMPETITION
With a chance for your family to win an Easter hamper!

Our annual Easter Bonnet competition is back! Create a beautiful Easter Bonnet for your loved one and bring it to Glais House Care Home before April 1st.

RULES:

- ONE ENTRY PER FAMILY.
- BRING THE HAT BY (OR NO LATER THAN) APRIL 1st.
- MAKE SURE THE HAT IS LABELED SO WE KNOW WHO IT BELONGS TO.
- TWO WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON APRIL 4th.

CULTURAL DAY
FRIDAY, 20TH MARCH
3PM-4:30PM

Join us for our Cultural Day event, where our staff have prepared a fun and engaging programme to celebrate and share their own cultures. Enjoy an afternoon filled with games and quizzes, as staff dress in traditional clothing, play music from their backgrounds, and perform traditional dances. There will also be a selection of traditional nibbles to try.

With the sun out in full force, we couldn’t resist making the most of it! On a scorching +29°C summer’s day, we hosted a fun-filled splash party in the garden ☀️💦 🔫 Residents and staff joined in water games and friendly competitions, with laughter and smiles all around. Two brave staff members even took the plunge into the paddling pool! To top it all off, an ice cream van arrived and treated everyone to delicious scoops 🍦the perfect way to end a fantastic day in the sun ☀️

🍓Lovely Afternoon at Gower PYO Farm 🍓

With the sun spoiling us, we decided to make the most of the beautiful weather and take a trip to Gower to pick some fresh berries. ☀️ After filling our baskets with delicious strawberries and raspberries, the ladies enjoyed a picnic in the sunshine and had fun making wildflower crowns. 💐

We brought back several large baskets of fresh berries for all the residents to enjoy at the home, a sweet treat from a wonderful day out! 🍓🍰🫖☀️

We had a lovely Easter celebration at Glais House last week! 🐣🎉🎈A big thank you to all the families and friends who came along. 🤗 A huge shoutout to our amazing kitchen team for putting on another fantastic spread, and to all our wonderful staff for making it such a fun day with games and activities 👏🏻🌟
