Have you ever watched your mind at work? Do you ever ask yourself where that thought came from or why I feel like I am now? Having a bit of an overview on the whys and hows of what's going on in the grey matter can be really helpful, if not sometimes quite enlightening. Mindfulness practice really can give us this ability to be that much more aware.

Last night I sat in the garden and in the darkening skies the barn owl flew into the 'being renovated house next door' to feed his screeching chicks. Silent and focused like a moon light ray this nightly wonder lives very much in the moment. (picture by Bob Brewer) Mindfulness is his way of life.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness involves being in the present moment rather than thinking about the past or worrying about the future. Practising mindfulness can help you reduce stress, increase focus, and improve overall well-being, both mental and physical. It is just like learning a new language or learning to ride a bike.

Once you have got it, you will never forget just how to do it. It becomes second nature.

Every Thursday Evening, for 6 weeks, from the 7th of September 2023.

This course will take you from the brain’s neuroscience to training the brain’s autopilot. With in-depth practice and training of the mind, this course will clear out the emotional debris cluttering your mind.
