Our Story

About Me,

I qualified in 2013 as a complimentary therapist in Brighton and practice Scar Tissue Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Pregnancy Massage. Since I have qualified I have been working closely with The Old Mill Foundation in Penclawwd giving treatments to cancer patients and their carers. Here is some more information on some of the treatments that I offer;

Scar Tissue Massage £25 - £30

ScarWork treatment is used to improve the health and feel of scars from surgery or accidents. After treatment, clients often comment their scars feel softer, mobility has improved and they feel less pain. Improvement after treatment seems to be lasting and even single sessions can be helpful. The treatment uses very light touch techniques that are not painful and do not use oils, creams or tools.

Reflexology - £30

Reflexology is a noninvasive complementary therapy that involves pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. It is based on the theory that reflex points on the feet/hands corresponds with different organs and systems in the body. By working on these reflexes balance and harmony can be restored.

Aromatherapy - £35 per hour.

Aromatherapy Massage uses fragrant oils extracted from herbs, flowers and fruits to naturally enhance the benefits of massage. These are combined to suit the individual needs of the client.

Indian Head Massage - £25

Indian Head Massage is based on the Ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. The aim of this massage is to release stress/tension that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, neck, face and shoulders. This is a very relaxing treatment.

All treatments involve a free initial consultation in order to identify any areas to focus on and establish a treatment plan. During the treatments I will often check to make sure that the pressure is comfortable.

I am available for home visits or can also work from the Old Mill treatment clinic in Penclawwd. The is a £5 discount off your first treatment.
