We are a caring, family owned independent funeral services company, and we have served the community in Swansea for over 60 years.“Service with Compassion “ has been the maxim of John Edwards Funeral Directors, the independent family run firm based in Swansea, since its start and continues to be its focus, inspiration and guiding light in this, its 63rdyear of business.

The firm remains a community service organisation, with the same integral traditional values that were established by John Edwards himself.

The business is now managed by his son-in-law Alan James. He said, “Although there have been a lot of changes in the profession over the last 60 years, the actual duties, care and responsibilities are unchanging. We are here to serve, help and support families before, during and after the funeral.”
