Fox Therapy EMDR & Counselling. Online and face-to-face in Swansea. I’m Rachael Fox, an experienced psychotherapist. My background is working with addiction and homelessness.

PTSD, anxiety, relationship difficulties, addiction, bereavement, anger management, codependency, stress, depression, self-worth, phobias, trauma, burnout, and more... I studied at the University of Wales Trinity St David, where I achieved a 1st class Honours degree in Counselling. I am Accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapist. The relationship between client and counsellor is paramount, and I value building trusting and respectful relationships with my clients. I have worked in supported housing for people who were trying to get their lives back on track after dealing with alcohol or drug dependency and offenders. I have also worked in a local drug and alcohol agency and in drop-in centres for the homeless.

It is sometimes surprising to feel the heaviness that comes out of you when you finally decide to heal and let go. It may even hurt or feel intense, but you know that you would much rather face the storm than to keep carrying around that dreadful tension.
