Take away your roles in life as a mother, friend, sister, aunt and so on, who are YOU ?

Who is this person hidden behind the mask?

Who is this beautiful woman lost in her own body, her own mind where she has given so much to everyone else but herself

Maybe she has spent her life hearing who she is from others, but not listened to her own voice, her own heart, her own soul

Ask her ~ what does she need right now, how can she just be - how can she just be her one true self

Maybe the woman behind the mask was just a little girl she could never be 💕

As she heads in her luteal phase she can feel her heart tighten - the heaviness comes in, the strain becomes more apparent - and she gasps for more air - noticing the dred, anxiety feeling overwhelmed kicking in

She notices the twitcheness bubbling away in her bones ~ her body - the agitation- frustration- anger - rising to the surface

Sleepless Nights and Exhaustion to add fuel to the fire

She starts to pull away from everyone and everything to protect her own energy- knowing she can just about deal with her self yet alone anyone else

The mental torture shows up as she starts finding life to much, questioning who she is and what she does. Questioning her existence. In her head she tells herself life is all falling apart and she doesn't know what to do any more - constant battling just trying to survive this week of what can feel like mental torture

She weeps - she freezes - she can't function the way she would normally - she can't even work - her brain feels like it's ready to explode

She knows this time will pass - She knows this won't be forever- She tries to honour herself the best she can - she waits patiently for her bleed - as she knows after this stage of her cycle she will feel normal again

*EDIT* I just want to add this aswell - Can I just clarify as I know people go into panic when I speak about PMDD. I am not going to top myself - I have had this for a while, so I know what to do to support myself the best I can, I also have support around me. I have got use to it that I know exactly what and when is happening to my body. Its still not nice but its being managed the best way I can.

I just want to make more of an awareness so women dont feel alone. So they can seek the right support and help how ever that may look

To those around them that may see this woman fall to her knees each month and not know what the hell is happening - remember she might not either.

I do go into things deeply, I think and feel deeply and maybe at times I over share. But if I didn't how would others relate ? And this is the whole point. We can easily act like everything is ok but when I speak my intentions is to always connect it to the right person as there is nothing worse then feeling alone in the world
