🚑 A Busy Week for Life Support Training and Safety! 🚑

Last week the LSTS team were out in force delivering across multiple sectors – showcasing exactly what we do best.

We started the week at the Trauma Conference in Stone, where we proudly showcased our SafeShel Casualty Shelter.
It was fantastic to engage with a wide range of organisations, including:

✔️ Military medical and air assault units
✔️ Fire & Rescue services
✔️ Cave and beach rescue teams
✔️ Emergency responders and industry professionals

We’re particularly excited that two military units are now taking SafeShel to Estonia for trials, recognising its portability, rapid deployment, and operational effectiveness in challenging environments.

💬 Community Engagement & Education

Following the conference, we delivered a specialist resuscitation session to a focused patient group of over 30 attendees and their families.

We covered:
🫁 Recognition and management of neck breathers
❤️ Practical CPR guidance and advice

A truly meaningful session supporting patients and empowering families with lifesaving knowledge.

🎓 Training & Event Support

The week didn’t stop there…

✔️ Delivered Emergency First Aid at Work training to 10 candidates in Swansea
✔️ Provided event medical cover for over 300 cross-country runners and supporters

👏 Proud of Our Team

From military engagement to community education and frontline event support – this is what Life Support Training and Safety is all about.

Well we’re out and about at the Bee show today at The Telford International Centre.
Always looking out for innovation and good ideas. So I’ve found a bee keepers suit aimed at those with Anaphylaxis risk and who keep bee’s, and yes many beekeepers still keep beens after discovering their severe allergic reaction. EpiPen at hand, they tend their bees 🐝 and bring fabulous honey.
This suit,’ the credit of which goes to “Sheriff”, is made to order, and in an anaphylaxis emergency “seconds matter”, finding their EpiPen rapidly is a must.

Every Minute Matters ⏱️♥️

Did you know?….If someone suffers a cardiac arrest, their chances of survival drop by 10% for every minute that passes without defibrillation an prompt effective CPR.
An AED can help save a life before emergency services arrive. Let’s make our community heart-safe this !
