Why the 'Level 6 Certificate in Creative Therapeutic Life Story Work' matters...

Children and young people who have experienced trauma, loss, or disrupted attachments often struggle to make sense of their past. Creative Therapeutic Life Story Work provides a safe and structured way for them to explore their histories, build narratives of identity, and move towards healing.

The Level 6 Certificate in Creative Therapeutic Life Story Work is an accredited qualification, giving practitioners the assurance that their training meets recognised professional standards. Accreditation is important not only for your credibility as a practitioner but also for ensuring children and families can trust in the quality and integrity of the support you provide.

This course combines creativity with therapeutic approaches to equip you with the skills to help young people develop resilience, strengthen their sense of self, and create hope for the future.

Playful Play Ideas for August Day 20. Make a shaker or a be**er

You can make a shaker by finding old plastic bottles and filling them up with rice or lentils. Replace the cap and shake. Beaters can be made by cutting old broom handles into 20cm lengths. Sand them smooth with sand paper and beat them against each other. You can paint or decorate as much as you like. Either sing or play a song you like and beat or shake along to it. Dancing is optional but is such good fun! Why wouldn't you?

Playful Play Ideas for August Day 17. Jacks

The game of jacks, also known as knucklebones, involves bouncing a ball and picking up jacks according to a set of progressively more difficult rounds. Players take turns tossing the ball, attempting to pick up a specified number of jacks before the ball bounces twice or they drop it. Success in each round allows the player to progress to the next, with the game ending when a player completes all rounds. This game can be played with small stones rather than buying the Jacks. You just need to find a small bouncing ball.
