I went to see Ian after being recommended by a friend and seeing the positive effect of his work first hand. I have had a lifelong fear of flying which had put me off taking longer trips abroad and had a negative effect on my enjoyment of holidays. I was planning a special trip to the US so I decided it was time to take control and tackle my fear. Straightaway, Ian put me at ease and his confidence in what we could achieve made me feel empowered. We were able to totally deconstruct my fear and change my entire attitude to flying over the course of the sessions and he gave me the tools I needed to take control. It was a total game changer for me. I've since taken the trip to the US and it went amazingly. Previously I would make myself sick with anxiety, I wouldn't sleep properly in the days leading up to my holiday and I would start thinking negatively about flying the moment I booked the flights. Now I was able to relax, have a drink at the airport and eat, sleep and watch TV onboard and look out of the window; something I've had never been able to do previously. Ian's sessions have also had an effect on my general well-being. I have a much more positive outlook, my anxiety has decreased and I'm much calmer and able to better deal with problems and worries. This has been noticeable to friends and family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ian, thanks to him I'm now planning my next flight!
