To be 'open' to receive Spirit you definitely need to be open minded and not to question everything all the time, it is hugely to do with experience, faith, belief and recognising & acknowledging signs.

Although, it is healthy particularly these days to question many things, experiences and situations, sometimes our own but especially if it's involving someone else's experience.
BUT WHAT IF WE ARE LIMITING OURSELVES?
MAYBE PHYSICALLY CLOSING DOWN OUR THIRD EYE, CROWN CHAKRA WITHOUT REALISING IT, THIS THEN ACTS AS A BLOCK TO RECEIVING.
