The image below shows the mechanism of the injury which usually, but not always, is caused by a vehicle hitting the back of the car you are travelling in. It's Cricket season and to bowl as fast as the 1st image portrays takes a lot of strength & technique. Unfortunately with this comes the possibility of injury. One of the most common injuries is a 'pulled hamstring', the most obvious sign is when the player grabs the bottom of their glute or top of the back of the thigh.

The 2nd image shows, that although a pulled hamstring is a common injury, it is usually the symptom of some other problem, which is the real culprit.

Congratulations to all the players at Wimbledon this year. There must be some very sore arms after the competition, and one such condition related to Tennis is 'TENNIS ELBOW'.
