⭐ Sadly, the NHS in Swansea is limited in the hearing aids it can offer. It was fine, but it just wasn’t making enough difference to my day-to-day life.
⭐ I went to Viney Hearing Care in Sketty after hearing good things, and I’m so happy I did. After a hearing test, Tom met with me practically every week whilst I tried different hearing aids from a range of brands.
⭐ I never felt any pressure at all. I was able to take each one away for a week or so and properly test them in different situations.
⭐ I eventually chose the one that felt right for me, and even then I was able to take it away and try it again before paying, which made a huge difference.
⭐ I’m really happy with what I’ve chosen, but more than anything I’m grateful for the patience and expertise from Tom and the team. It felt really personal, and I know I can pop back anytime if I need tweaks or have any issues.
⭐ I’d absolutely recommend them. Hearing aids are not cheap so it is really important you choose the right one that makes the right difference for your situation.

Did you know your ear has the smallest bone in your body? 🔍

The stapes (also called the stirrup) is approximately 3mm long so that's one sixth of a 5p coin! 📏

Along with the malleus and incus (also called the hammer and anvil) these three bones amplify the sound waves that hit your ear drum and send them into the cochlea. 💪

Collectively called the ossicles, they could all sit on the tip of your finger!

🚨 HAVE YOU LOST A HEARING AID IN MUMBLES? 🚨

Our audiologist found this Phonak Audeo Infinio rechargeable hearing aid outside Joe's Ice Cream.

We believe it was sold by the Specsavers home visit team in Ebbw Vale, but no patient name sorry!
