"What Can Craniosacral Therapy Support?"

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapy that works with the nervous system, fascia, and fluid rhythms of the body to release deep-held tension and restore balance.

It’s subtle, but powerful — supporting not just symptoms, but the whole person.

🌿 CST may support people experiencing:

Headaches & migraines

Jaw pain (TMJ dysfunction)

Chronic stress & anxiety

Tinnitus or ear pressure

Neck & back pain

Concussion recovery

Sleep disturbances

Digestive issues

Pelvic floor tension

Emotional overwhelm

Postural imbalances

Nervous system dysregulation (burnout, freeze states, etc.)

This therapy meets you where you are. It doesn’t force change — it invites the body to remember how to heal itself.

✨ Many clients report:

A sense of deep calm

Greater body awareness

Relief from long-held patterns

More ease in their daily life

If you’re looking for a gentle, body-led way to reconnect and restore — CST may be a path worth exploring.

💬 Have questions or want to know if CST is right for you? I’m happy to chat.

Stillness is not a break from the work. It is the work.
Stillness is the body's way of saying:
“I heard you. I felt that. I’m making space for the new.”

You’re not just healing — you’re becoming more whole.
And that’s what real embodiment is.
Stillness isn’t absence.
It’s not nothing.
It’s the fertile void — the space where the body re-weaves itself, where the nervous system finally has room to reorganize, and where the deeper intelligence of the body can speak in whispers instead of screams.

It’s where:

Trauma finds rest

Patterns unhook from old survival loops

The self remembers it is more than effort, more than control

So what is Craniosacral Therapy?

It's very much a specialised method of treatment practised by Craniosacral Practitioners.Developed out of the field of Cranial Osteopathy. This particular therapy is primarily focused on balancing the craniosacral system. This system includes the Skull and all of its separate bones, the spinal cord and the sacrum. Treatment also aims to work with the Cranial membranes, Spinal Fluid System, and Central Nervous System. The practitioner can read these subtle impulses within the body and help to gently guide the structures and systems back to full balance and function.

Who might benefit from Craniosacral treatment?

Babies are can be treated as many newborncan experience cranial imbalances during the birthing process.Commonly left un-diagnosed, problems can arise in the areas of feeding, latching on to the breast, sleeping problems or general unrest. Deformities of the head may also be treated.

There are many conditions which can benefit. Certainly treatment will help to reduce MIGRAINES and HEADACHES, VERTIGO and in cases HEARING ISSUES can be improved also. BACK, NECK or PELVIC/HIP PAIN alignment and pain relief. This is especially good for anyone whom may have taken a fall to the base of the spine. Horseriding/skiing accidents etc often causes imbalance to the pelvis and lower back.
More specific conditions like SINISITUS, T.M.J and BRUXISM can also be treated successfully.
NERVOUS SYSTEM DISORDERS can be calmed and balanced. People who have conditions as a result of a HEAD INJURY, or STROKE have been treated with wonderful results, and lastly (although i could go on) this treatment is extremely helpful for PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING in treating ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, EMOTIONAL TRAUMA, PERSONALITY DISORDERS, and most importantly it PROVIDES INSTANT STRESS RELIEF.

What is involved in a treatment?

Craniosacral Therapy is so relaxing and gentle. No forcing or pushing is involved. The whole process is a gentle relieving, unwinding and uncoiling experience which induces a needed sense of peace and calmness to the recipient. They remain fully clothed during the whole treatment while the practitioner gently works with the craniosacral system.
Another positive side affect of this method of healing is that it helps us to communicate with ourselves on such a deep level. Healing takes part at the cellular level, so that the body can fully release the memory and move on, returning to a more beneficial and healthy state. After treatment we can find our energy levels returning to normal as the body lets go of all the tension related to the problem. I highly recommend it! it worked for me so much so that I've taken up training to become a qualified practitioner. If you'd like any further information or have any specific questions please get in touch.

A really nice session working with a client who's been diagnosed with herniated thoracic and lumbar discs. Even at this level Cst can bring some great relief and create space for healing and regeneration.
