🛑📱Important announcement 01/04/2020 💻🛑
We are very excited to announce that from 1st April all requests for advice, telephone consultations or face to face appointments with the GPs or nurses will be made directly by the patient or their carer via our new online system called askmyGP.
With askmyGP you will usually get a response back from the GP within the hour, and offered an appointment on the same day if needed.
You will still be able to choose a named GP if they are working that day, and specify how you would like us to contact you back.
You can use askmyGP for yourself, your child or someone you care for, as long as they are registered with the practice.
This will give patients faster and easier access to the GP surgery and we will ask all patients with an email address and internet access to use this service for any requests to the surgery.
By sending your request online, you will not have to explain your problem to a receptionist and will receive help faster. This will also free up the telephone lines for medical emergencies and those who don’t have internet access who can often be more vulnerable members of society.
Please note repeat prescription requests will still be via My Health Online or the dedicated prescription line.
