So many of us spend our days in a constant state of “doing”.
Deadlines, responsibilities, caring for others, rushing from one thing to the next. Over time our nervous systems can get used to being switched on all the time.
Massage can be one of the ways we give the body permission to soften.
Through slow, supportive touch, the body often begins to shift out of that stressed “fight or flight” state and into a calmer, more restorative one.
Breathing deepens. Muscles let go a little. The mind quietens.
It’s not about fixing everything in one session. Sometimes it’s simply about giving your body a moment to remember what calm feels like.
