I did my first well-being fayre today at the diplomat hotel in Llanelli. I really enjoyed working on my clients with taster sessions of reflexology and reiki.

The fair is being held at the diplomat hotel in Llanelli from 10am until 4pm with free entry.

Today is the first proper day of Willow Tree Mind & Body, having some very lovely volunteers in to help me work out the mechanics of bringing Mind and Body together.

In return for a free mind and sports massage session, these wonderful folks will help me shape my business for the future - helping me work out session durations, the flow of the work and how to set up so we can maximise our time together. So we’ve tested two -hour, one hour and 45 minute sessions to see what works best. We’ve had impromptu talks about their backstories, their futures and any help I can give whilst working on physical areas.

What makes this even more special is these volunteers have come from a local homeless organisation and they’re either current or previous members who have had or are having support getting back on their feet after experiencing or being at risk of homelessness. They really are incredible humans.

I wouldn’t be writing something like this normally, but I feel I have to share today. I’m beaming from ear to ear and being able to give back and learn at the same time is priceless. I also think I’ve made some new friends in the process.
