Do not be afraid to ask a potential therapist these 5 questions.

They should be able to give you clear and realistic answers.

If you aren't happy, then don't commit to it.

Having long term treatment, "maintenance forever" is a BS answer that just drains your bank account - please don't fall for that trap.

How do you know which therapist is right for you?

Ask them these five questions:

What’s the plan?

What’s my role at home?

How long before I should see change?

What happens if I relapse?

What does success look like?

If they can answer clearly and collaborate with you, you’re in the right place.

If you want a plan that blends hands-on care with brain-based training to keep pain away, that’s exactly what I do. DM me if you’re ready to stop chasing flare-ups.

How did you get on?

Back pain didn’t really ‘come back’ — it never fully left.

One in three people will get back pain again within a year.

That’s because pain is complex — sleep, stress, de-conditioning, and habits all play a part.

Quick fixes feel great, but if you don’t build resilience, flare-ups are almost guaranteed.

My approach is about teaching your brain and body how to prevent relapse, not just chasing each flare-up.

Manual therapy works — but only as part of the bigger picture.

Massage, adjustments, joint mobilisations… they can feel amazing.

But research shows they work best short-term, unless you combine them with exercise, education, and strategies for confidence in movement.

Think of manual therapy as opening a window.
Exercise and brain-based drills keep that window open.

So if your treatment plan is only hands-on, you’re renting relief, not owning it.

Tomorrow, I’ll explain why pain seems to keep coming back

Who does what?

Physio, osteopath, chiropractor, sports massage, brain-based movement... what's the difference?

Each has its strengths, but what matters is finding the right approach for you.
