And it’s over… as far as comps go this was a tough one. I’m really tired, my body is sore and I’m mentally exhausted 🥱 and may possibly need a spine replacement 🩻 - damn jumping down from a rig which is too high for me to jump from!
I tried really hard, I made some poor decisions in the heat of the moment for which I’m sorry for, drank far too much caffeine ☕️ , stroked my pup 🐶 in the middle of workouts, actually gone into a toilet cubicle and slapped 👋 myself around the face 🫣 a few times, then forgot every movement and every rep amount for a whole WOD, (thanks to Liam for being kind, calm and gentle in reminding me every step of the way), but I lifted 🏋️♀️ what I thought I wouldn’t be able to on the day, did better than I thought I would with the gymnastics 🤸🏻 , enjoyed the atmosphere, didn’t feel so sick 🤢 and nervous 😟 as I have before and loved spending time with some great supportive people and loved having Sebastian 🐶 there, who was perfectly dog sat by lovely Lucia and I’m so chuffed that I didn’t actually p*e myself on the comp floor! Go pelvic floor - I’m immensely proud of you! 👏
I’m grateful now to have 3 days off from Personal Training (please don’t turn up at the gym until Thursday!) when I will be really pleased to see you… 😊
I’ve slept really badly so I have come back to bed with my ginger boys 🐱 🐕 and am about to reply to messages… 🙏😘
