They build stress. Burnout. Inconsistency.
And then you’re right back where you started.

Here’s the truth:
Most people train with short-term thinking
But real adaptation takes weeks, months, years

Why?

📌 General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS) — Selye (1950s)
Training is a stress.
Your body breaks down first, then adapts after recovery

This weekend, some of the team hit the Derby Arena Velodrome for DEKA.

The backdrop was epic. The atmosphere electric.

Our teams brought home 5 podiums:
🏆 3 x 1st Place
🥉 2 x 3rd Place

But podiums only tell part of the story.

The real win wasn’t the medals.
It was the people who signed up, stepped up, and walked into that arena knowing they’d be tested.

It was those who battled the nerves, embraced the grind, and proved something to themselves.

Because turning up is a victory in itself.

Putting yourself out there takes courage. And every single person who stood on that start line earned respect. Remember, there are so many who don’t have that courage yet — but they might look at you and think:
“I look like that.”
“They’re my age.”
And maybe you’re the kick up the arse they need to say:
“I can do it.”

That’s Battle Group Training.

Not just chasing medals, but building resilience, strength, and the mindset to step forward when others sit back. Inspiring and supporting those we train alongside every day.

This weekend, some of the team hit the Derby Arena Velodrome for DEKA.

The backdrop was epic. The atmosphere electric.
