BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Ahead of the new year I am very happy to share such a big announcement with everyone

🚚The business has moved to new premises!!!

📍I am now located at The Neuro Wellbeing Centre, Westmead Industrial Estate

This new location has allowed me to be in a much more central position for the whole of Swindon, easily accessible from Thamesdown drive, Great Western Way and the Motorway

I look forward to welcoming everyone to the new room.

I will be back open for treatments on Monday 5th January

‘A massage fixes everything’

As much as I’d like to say yes the honest answer is NO a massage cannot fix every ache or pain you have and I’d be lying if I told you otherwise.

However a massage can have a huge positive impact on various aspects of your life!!

A massage can help with many of your aches and pains and it can also help improve your mental state too.

But sometimes there will be a case where we need to get other medical professionals involved, be that getting a second opinion or referring you to your GP or someone with a different discipline.

Due to the hikes in prices of everything at the moment, I know for some people getting the help or treatment they want and deserve feels slightly out of reach

❓What do I wear to a sports massage?❓

Are you unsure of what to wear to your first sports massage?

Every therapist is different and prefers to work differently,
Most importantly make sure you're comfortable and can move freely.

In some situations I will require clients to take some of their clothes off so for this reason underwear is a must (including a bra for females)

👕A loose fitting t-shirt
🩳Shorts, running leggings or tracksuit bottoms.
-Ideally a bra with a clasp at the back instead of a sports bra
👟Shoes that aren't too difficult to remove
🧥In colder weather you might want to ensure you have a warm jacket to keep the muscles relaxed after your treatment

Hi!
I have some new followers and a fair few new clients so I thought I would introduce myself again.

My name is Clara, I am a 24 year old Pregnancy and Sports Massage therapist, based in Wroughton

I was born and raised in West Swindon with family based in Wroughton

I have been running my own business for about 2 years now. Originally I only offered the Sports Massage but I trained in Pregnancy and Postnatal Massage earlier this year.

When I’m not doing Massage I also drive school buses of a morning and the odd afternoon.

I came into the Profession after suffering a few injuries from being a victim of a high speed RTC. I received great treatment from a multitude of people and decided I wanted to be able to help others along their journey to being pain free, or managing conditions that they have for life.

Myth Buster
Sports massage does not have to be a weekly commitment.
