This is why I’m doing this.
I spoke to one of our members, Laura, this week.
A mum of two who has spent the past year going through chemo, surgery and radiotherapy after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
Even now, after treatment, the journey doesn’t just stop.
There’s still recovery. Still uncertainty. Still the mental side of it all.
She said something that stuck with me:
“You take for granted being able to move your body… until you can’t.”
Running 100 miles in 24 hours sounds hard.
But it’s nothing compared to what some people go through every single day.
This is why supporting charities like Macmillan Cancer Support matters.
If you’ve been thinking about sponsoring a mile or donating, this is your reminder of why it counts.
There are still miles available on the tracker. (47 miles left)
Not for me.
For people like Laura ❤️
