Guess who’s turning 11 today… and still stealing the spotlight in every session? 👑🐾

🎉 Happy Birthday to Bella! 🎉 Our little therapy sidekick is officially 11 today. She’s sat through countless sessions, offered cuddles when clients needed them most, and never fails to bring a smile to everyone who meets her.

Bella is truly loved by all my clients (and me, of course!) – even if she’s just as bonkers as her mum 🐾💛

September can feel like a storm for young people 🌧️

New routines, new teachers, new challenges. It can feel like a lot for children and teens.

If your child is struggling with school anxiety, here are some simple tools you can try together:

✨ 5 Tools for Parents:

1. Breathing Together: Use “box breathing” (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4). Doing it with them makes it feel safe.
2. Morning Calm: Start the day with 3 things they’re grateful for. This primes their brain for positivity.
3. Safe Anchor: Help them create an “anchor” by linking a thumb-and-finger press to a calm or happy memory.
4. Visualisation: Guide them to imagine walking into school feeling calm, safe, and strong.
5. After-School Reset: Give them downtime with a calm activity before asking about their day.

✨ Your exam results are a chapter, not your whole story ✨

GCSE results can feel like the biggest moment of your life, but they don’t define your future!

I just scraped my exams. At 16, I didn’t walk away with any high grades. And honestly? It’s taken me until 39 to really know what I want to do…and I’m still learning, growing, and changing every day.

Exam results are not the full story. They are a snapshot, not the whole book. You can still go far, you still have options, and you can build a life that feels right for you regardless of what that piece of paper said today!

If you’re disappointed, take a breath. This isn’t the end of the road, it’s simply one of many paths 💕Some of the most resilient, creative, and inspiring people I know didn’t “smash it” at 16. They just kept going.

💡 Your worth is not defined by your grades.
💡 Your journey doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.
💡 It’s never too late to find your way.
