UPDATE ❕❕❕

There are a few changes that will occur in March at Dawson Sports Massage Therapy⚠️

Firstly, I will now be taking DEPOSITS to secure all massage appointments 🔒
This change has occurred due to an increased number of no shows without letting me know. I feel that I am very understanding with regards to cancellations and forgotten appointments but unfortunately this has started to impact on my diary and other clients who wish to be seen last minute and are not able to.
The deposit will be 50% of the treatment cost that if cancelled within 24hrs will be non-refundable. I am aware that of course some things crop up last minute, emergencies happen, so if this is deem an exceptional circumstances then a refund will be granted☺️(however this will be at the therapist discretion).

Secondly, due to the current climate there will be a price increase to all treatments, commencing on the 20th March 2023

- 45 minutes £35
- 60 minutes £40
- 90 minutes £65

I would like to apologise for the inconvenience that is being caused by this change! This was of course something I very much wanted to avoid and unfortunately has been unavoidable due to the rising cost of living.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my clients for your continued support! You’re all amazing!! I will be offering more frequent discounts and offers, so keep your eyes peeled, to avoid missing out!✨

Do you experience red marking after a sports or deep tissue massage❓❓

The redness on the skin is often an indication that blood flow has increased to the area. This increase in blood flow is considered a good thing as blood assists healing of tissues, as well as warming the muscle keeping them relaxed throughout treatment.😄💆🏻‍♂️

Client presented with left shoulder restriction along with aching of the low back. We treated this using Myofasical dry cupping and sports massage to relieve tension and alleviate pain. Range of motion improved significantly at the shoulder joint after just the first session😄
