Today we had some reborn dolls visit DV.
These help with Comfort, reduction in anxiety, connection, purpose, memory stimulation and social interaction.

Our new hairdresser started today and made our residents look and feel fabulous.

Today we started making some Christmas tree decorations….. in November !!!!
We made salt dough and our lovely residents chose between a Christmas tree, reindeer, snowman or star cookie cutter to make their own tree decoration which they can paint when dry.

A very busy productive day today making our gingerbread people for our first Christmas market tomorrow.
There will also be a Snackerz van at the front carpark selling hot beverages and hot toasties.
This activity was sensory for our residents and also reminded them of Christmas with the smells of ginger and cinnamon.
