We are immensely humbled and very proud to be able to announce that we have been selected for a second year running for an award recognising the high standards and level of service that we provide for bereaved families.

Following our award last year from the Southern Enterprise Awards for the "Most Compassionate Funeral Directors - Wiltshire - 2024", we have the absolute privilege to be able to announce that this year the Southern Enterprise Awards have announced us as the winners of "Funeral Directors of the Year - Wiltshire - 2025".

We are so grateful to have received this award, recognising the true compassion, dedication and genuine care that our members of staff constantly provide and display to families in need.

We are here for you to respectfully listen, gently guide and to come alongside you as we put everything into place for you.

This personalised service you receive is exactly the same if you are arranging an unattended cremation only service, up to and including the most elaborate of services.

We are also experienced in arranging funerals anywhere around the country.

We had the privilege of looking after a family who wanted a funeral outside of Swindon with a white horse drawn hearse and six white horses.

It was a complete honour and privilege to be able to help the family in this way.

Another very generous donation from Roger and Diane our lovely regulars who donate to Swindon Caring Hearts to help feed the homeless. We really appreciate everything they do to help ❤️

We have still been receiving some very generous donations for Swindon Caring Hearts who support the homeless with hot meals, desserts, drinks and snack packs three times a week as well as emotional support for approximately 50 people per evening.

Although the weather is getting a lot warmer they still need to be looked after and Swindon Caring Hearts do an incredible job but have to rely on the public for donations and their time with preparing meals, making sandwiches, snack packs etc.

Pearce Funeral Services continue to support the group with donations and being a drop off point at both our branches which then get passed onto the group.

If anyone is able to donate and drop off to either of our funeral homes it would be very much appreciated. If you have any of the items below but are unable to drop off then please let us know and we can arrange collection. Tel: 01793 422422

Items the group are in need of are:

Crisps
Indidually wrapped biscuits/cakes
Chocolate bars
Sweets

We are here for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and will be here for you over the Christmas period should you wish to contact us.

As always we will only be at the end of the phone if you need us.

We will be keeping all the families we have had the privilege of looking after in our thoughts over the Christmas period and hope that this time, as hard as it can be, will also bring moments of joy as we remember those we love.

Thank you for your amazing generosity!!

In the weeks leading up to the Christmas period we have received some extremely generous donations of food, scarfs, hand warmers and Christmas treats for Swindon Caring Hearts

We have passed these very kind donations on to Swindon Caring Hearts and they have been distributed to the homeless and those in need in our community of Swindon.

We can only do this with your generosity and on behalf of both Swindon Caring Hearts and Pearce Funeral Services we all want to say one big THANK YOU, not only for these donations throughout December but also for your regular and generous donations to the drop in centre at our West Swindon branch throughout the whole of 2024.

Being a drop in centre, and a very small part of what Swindon Caring Hearts do, has given us the privilege of seeing on a regular basis how the hearts of many people in Swindon are for supporting others within our community, when there is a real need. Your hearts, generosity and caring for others has been both a privilege and a humbling experience to witness.

At Pearce Funeral Services we are proud to confirm that we continue to be a drop in centre for Swindon Caring Hearts throughout 2025, it is an honour to be able to help in this way and witness the positive difference you all make to our community.
