What to expect in a Reiki Course?
During my Reiki course I teach you Usui Reiki, taught to me from a very experienced Reiki Teacher. We will learn a little about the history of Reiki and you will receive on Reiki 1 4 attunements, I teach you the hand positions and give you a manual plus certificate.
But that is not all you receive I will make the training of Reiki fun and very informative, it hard to say what you will gain from learning Reiki because until I meet you and we start the Reiki teachings I wont know which way the training will take us.
Teaching Reiki is for me a connection to the energy of the student and follow that energy to encourage them to fully enjoy the experience.
I don’t offer gimmicks just the true way of Reiki I’ve been taught and experience myself. I believe that my 2-day courses are relaxed and full of knowledge, learned by me over 17 years of using and teaching Reiki.
In teaching Reiki, we start with a structure of teachings, but this isn’t set in stone as I said before a course will develop differently depending on the energy and connection made with the student.
Its not just about learning Reiki it is also about yourself development, if you’re willing to take yourself to the pure energy of Reiki Teaching then you will become amazing and move forward to Reiki 2.
I don’t do Reiki 1 and 2 together as I believe that the energy of Reiki 1 needs time to settle and you need time to get use to using that energy before venturing to practitioner level (Reiki2).
Reiki 2 we teach you more about Reiki and some extra tools to use during a treatment, you receive 2 attunements, manual and lots of guidance to treating the public in a professional manner .We will have fun with chanting, crystals and many other tool, which are extra to Usui’s teachings. I guide you to find your special way of doing treatments as I found that my students blossom when they aren’t constricted, I show you how to use your intuition and from your heart. I can give you information about how I feel the energy but when it comes down to it we all feel the energy differently but I will give you as much information as possible regarding the sensations normally felt while giving Reiki but you may not feel these you may feel it differently. Again, on Reiki 2 it’s all about self-development and your awareness of energy.
There are Reiki course out there that will teach you over one day or even online my personal view is that 1 day isn’t long enough for you to obtain and practice Reiki. Online is in my mind not possible to be pure Reiki as I like that connection to my students and energy in the room so I can physically help my students and feel when they have achieved the knowledge and beauty of Reiki. I personally believe you can’t attune a person over a computer and that is the most special part of Reiki, the connection between a Teacher and student. This is my own personal thoughts and if that is what you are drawn to then learning Reiki in any form is a good thing. I have however had several people connect to me that have done these types of courses and feel like they can’t do Reiki as they have not been shown or feel connected to how Reiki is done.
When you leave a class with me, I will never leave you to struggle if you need me to redo anything or go through anything I will be there.
So if Reiki is something your interested in learning make sure that you feel connected to your Teacher as you will benefit from their knowledge and experience and remember Reiki will change how you see things in the future, I know there will be people who thinks Reiki is rubbish but I can with all my heart say that it really did change my life for the better.
