Are you looking to improve your hip mobility &/or your inner calm? 🙌 Try adding Malasana to your daily routine!
✨ Benefits of Malasana (Garland Pose):

🌿 Helps to opens the hips, increasing flexibility and mobility
💪 Strengthens the ankles, core, and lower back
💨 Improves digestion
🧘‍♀️ Encourages grounding, calm, and focus
This squat position is both energizing and grounding — perfect for releasing tension and finding balance.

💡Tips to help: Use a yoga block or rolled blanket under your heels if they don’t seem to touch the ground. Use a stacked pile of bolsters or blocks to help support under your hips, if that still isn’t suitable then try from seated on the edge of a chair. It’s the week of celebrating LOVE….
Love is the most beautiful and wonderful feeling & is something we all desire. It is something we can’t just reach out and grab. Love affects every aspect of our human experience, emotionally, mentally, physically & spiritually. It is not confined to a romantic relationship. Love extends far out to family, friends, nature, and to ONESELF. Love fosters a deep sense of belonging, unity, and purpose.
Love is a source of healing & growth. Emotionally, it nurtures our sense of security and acceptance, helping us navigate life’s challenges with resilience. Mentally, love encourages open-mindedness and empathy, allowing us to understand different perspectives and connect deeply with others. Physically, love has been shown to promote health, from the release of oxytocin during moments of affection to the stress-reducing effects of feeling supported. Spiritually, love is the thread that connects us to something greater, whether it’s a higher power, the collective consciousness, or the profound interconnectedness of all life.
Love is also about balance, ensuring that we give and receive love in ways that honor our boundaries, needs, and growth. It is not self-sacrificial but reciprocal, where both individuals can flourish. True love is a journey of acceptance, patience, and mutual respect.
Through love, we evolve and expand, not just as individuals, but as a collective. It is the foundation for compassion, understanding, and the desire to make the world a better place.
