Sepsis kills more people than breast, bowel and prostate cancer combined.

If you’re feeling unwell make sure to look out for these common early warning signs, they spell out SEPSIS:

- Slurred speech or confusion
- Extreme shivering or muscle pain
- Passing no urine (in a day)
- Severe breathlessness
- It feels like you’re going to die
- Skin mottled or discoloured

If your worried that you or someone you look after has symptoms of sepsis, make sure to call 999 or go straight to A+E.
