Before we paid them a visit, we spent the morning baking delicious biscuits for our new friends at Willowbrook View Care Home. When we arrived, we played a friendly game of bingo featuring favourite Swindon attractions. The residents shared stories and jokes, enjoying each other’s company.

Thank you for having us — it was a truly lovely visit! 💗

This week we were delighted to welcome K.H Reborn Events and Hire, who brought along their beautiful reborn dolls for the residents to enjoy. The dolls sparked so many wonderful memories and conversations — from baby care “back in the day” to stories of family life and childhood.It was heart-warming to see the joy, comfort, and nostalgia these lifelike dolls brought to everyone.

The residents had a wonderful trip out to TK Maxx today, and oh, the sight of those Christmas shelves… it brought so much excitement and festive cheer! IFrom sparkling decorations to cosy winter treats, the shop was filled with that unmistakable Christmas magic. Our residents loved browsing the displays, sharing memories of holidays past, and indulging in lovely treats from the cafe.

Our little friends at Alison Humphrey childminders joined the residents for a meaningful Remembrance Day morning, filled with creativity, reflection, and connection. Together, they made beautiful poppy crafts, shared poems, and talked about the importance of 11th November — remembering those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Team GB Jiu Jitsu from Draco Dojo Martial Arts Academy to our care home today! They proudly presented their medals and treated us to an exciting demonstration of their incredible skills.
Everyone was so impressed — what a talented and inspiring team! Thank you for sharing your time and achievements with us and good luck for all your future competitions🏅

Hot dogs, mulled wine, and fireworks — the perfect recipe for soggy smiles. We were thrilled to see so many friends joining us for a night full of colour, laughter, and community spirit Fireworks Bonfire Night. Big thank you to Damian at Totally Crazy for entertaining us.🎆🎆
