Ladies we are heading into eclipse season✨🌕
A time of heightened emotional sensitivity and energetic shifts.
This Sunday (7th) the Earth's shadow will give the moon a rosey pink glow as we experience a full lunar eclipse.
At the same time we will be gathering in the hayloft for some snoozy Sunday stretching and nourishing deep relaxation.
I will be gently harnessing the lunar energy to hold us in a safe, liminal, luminous space of rest.

Thank you to the ladies who joined me this morning for the first of many Embody classes!
I'm going to celebrate with a portion of beans, and a Suki walk (I don't eat beans before class for obvious reasons 💨)

13 years ago today, we took 2 year old Heidi to the beach for the first time.
On the way there, in her car seat, she clutched her little plastic bucket and spade while expectantly looking out of the window, she was just so excited!!
What happened when we got there surprised us all.
Her enthusiastic sprint to the beach stopped dead as she looked up at Ollie and I and broke down with overwhelm.
Tears, tears and more tears.
Heidi had never seen something without end before, and the massive body of water that she had waited so long to see filled her with dread.
What followed was lots of cuddles and lots of talking through exactly what it was she was looking at.
Slowly as the day progressed and the beach became more quiet, we were able to enjoy a bimble if not a paddle along the shore.
Heidi absolutely loves the beach and sea swimming now. But what she helped me to remember on that day, which I thought I'd share in case it helps you too, are these two things...
1. Excitement and anxiety are very similar emotional experiences. There is only a very thin line that separates them. It's natural to feel both of these feelings at the same time and it's okay to not know where one begins and the other ends.
2. Sometimes we have to take life one little step at a time. It's okay to feel overwhelmed by the bigger picture. Give yourself a hug, show yourself patience, take one little step and the rest will likely follow.

I'm back!!
We had a very fun time...
Camping in Kent, celebrating Heidi's birthday, going to an 80's ukulele concert, plus we fitted in some much needed DIY.
Thank you so much for being patient with the delay in some of my replies to you whilst I was away. I'm chuffed I've been able to meet all your booking requests.
I am really looking forward to getting back to class tomorrow.
