If you were asked to donate 10p per day over 3 years to potentially SAVE A LIFE, WOULD YOU DO THIS? If the answer is YES, contact us to see about attending one of our First Aid courses where on successful completion your certificate lasts for 3 years and costs less than the equivalent of 10p per day. It is better to know how to potentially save a life..... and not need to, than not know how to when needed.

🌟 Quiz Answer Revealed! 🌟

Yesterday, we asked: What’s the first thing you should do when someone collapses? Here’s the correct answer:

B) Check if the person is breathing and responsive ✅

Why?
Before taking any action, it’s crucial to assess the situation.
1️⃣ Check responsiveness: Gently shake their shoulder and ask loudly, “Are you okay?”

🎃 Stay Safe This Halloween! 🎃

Halloween is a fun time for everyone, but it's important to keep safety in mind, especially for little trick-or-treaters. Here are some essential tips to ensure a spooky but safe Halloween night:
🕯️ Costume Safety
• Choose flame-resistant costumes and props.
• Ensure costumes fit properly to avoid tripping or falling.
• Use reflective tape or glow sticks to make sure you’re visible in the dark.

👀 Watch for Hazards
• Stick to well-lit areas when trick-or-treating.
• Walk, don’t run, and look both ways before crossing streets.

🚑 First Aid Kit Essentials
• Carry a small first aid kit in case of minor cuts or scrapes.
• Make sure you know basic first aid, including how to treat burns or bumps.

🎃 Stay Safe Indoors
• Keep candles and decorations away from flammable materials.
• Create a clear, well-lit path for visitors to avoid trips or falls.

By following these tips, you can enjoy all the Halloween fun while keeping yourself and others safe! 👻 Stay spooky and safe this Halloween!
