i held a beginners yoga class last week and the feedback was ‘I felt emotional during the breathwork’ ‘I feel so relaxed’ ‘it was hard to empty my mind’.
and that’s because we spend so much of our time giving out our energy, rushing from one thing to the next, processing so much information/thoughts & we become distracted easily.
so when we do take time to pause, to slow down & turn inwards - it can feel tricky, and its emotional because as we turn the gaze inwards we notice what’s going on inside & the relationship to self.
deep down we know we deserve to give ourselves that 1hr practice, those deep breaths, that 10 minute meditation.
to be fully present🪷✨
