Boost members visited the Swindon Croquet Club at the Moredon Sporting Hub on Thursday. Members learnt new skills and met the lovely people from the club who were supportive 😁 everyone had a great time and look forward to going back.

📢 National Emergency Alerts test – 7 September 2025

The government is carrying out a test of the Emergency Alerts system this Sunday (7 September) at 3pm.

Emergency Alerts is a UK-wide system that provides warning and advice in a life threatening emergency. Regular testing ensures the system is working correctly, should it be needed in an emergency.

The test alert will be sent to all compatible 4G and 5G mobile phones and compatible tablets across the UK.

Your mobile phone or tablet may:

📱make a loud siren-like sound, even if it’s set on silent
📱vibrate
📱read out the alert

The sound and vibration will last for about 10 seconds. You do not need to take any action.

If you do not wish to receive this for any reason, such as not wishing to draw attention to your device, you can opt out of receiving alerts using the link in the comments below.

Boost visited Coate water for the summer event. Members enjoyed a game of Boccia, a lovely picnic and a walk round the country park🚶‍♂️🐿
It was a great celebration of everyone's achievements so far this year 😁

We had a great day at the Bob Cook Games on Sunday. SAM's first time attending the games and everyone did so well and had a go at all the sports 🏃🏼‍♂️
The sports included running, relay, walking, discus, javelin and boules 🎱
Thank you to everyone that helped and well done to all that took part 🎖
We look forward to next year 😁
