MEET THE TEAM GAFYN.
Gafyn joined the team in the summer of 2024 and can be seen, met at our Swindon outlet. Gafyn started his career in Audiology in 2010 and is still part of the NHS Audiology services. Over his years in Audiology Gafyn has worked with multiple disciplined specialists and treats every client individually as their care, concerns and needs are unique to them. Gafyn thrives to give the best possible treatment and services for each individual client.

Gafyn is family man with 3 children. When he is not at work you can find him either, helping with homework, at the side of swimming pool or football pitch due to his active children.

With the festivities upon us, it can be a stressful time for the best of us, but especially those with hearing loss. Here are some tips to help you communicate better when speaking to someone with hearing loss, so everyone can enjoy Christmas.
At busy gatherings and events, be sure you have the person’s attention before you start speaking.

Stand in a well-lit area so the person can read your lips

🧏♂️ If possible, try and sit at a round table – this will make it easier to see faces clearly.

🧏 Get your hearing aids tested prior to socialising to make sure you get the best out of them. Overall, make sure to enjoy the festivities!
