There are s**t tons of Reiki Master Teachers out there for you to learn with.

All who have their own unique style of working with Reiki and how they teach Reiki. It can be quite overwhelming when you first start searching. But, if you have made the conscious decision to learn Reiki, then Reiki and your higher self will be guiding you towards the teacher who is a perfect fit for you.

All you need to do is browse the teachers out there. Look at their websites, and socials, and talk to them over the phone, on email or face to face. It is a great idea to have a Reiki session with different practitioners and see who feels right. Choose the teacher who resonates with you the strongest. And most importantly. Trust that fu***ng intuition of yours!

I fu***ng love water. It is such a powerful element.

For starters I want to give some love & gratitude to water! It keeps us alive, we are mostly made out of water. Secondly, it can be used to help us cleanse, ground & replenish our Ki. Let's not forget, water makes some of the most beautiful, enchanting places on this earth, that make us feel connected to nature & the divine at one time. Think of the ocean, waterfalls, glaciers.

One of my main rituals with reiki is to charge water for everything.
My shower in the morning to cleanse my body, mind, emotions and energy.
Each glass of water I drink with the intention, to cleanse, ground and heal.
My bath and the kid's bath for cleansing and healing.
My children's water/juices to help them ground and cleanse.
To the water before giving it to my plants.
To the kettle for some extra magical coffee and tea.
To my animal's water bowl.
To ponds and lakes, I walk past to give healing energy to nature.
To the ocean to give healing energy to the life within them, and to radiate to all the people on the beach to cleanse, calm and give a sense of connection.
The water I use for cooking helps release any negative toxins, energy or chemicals and enhances the nutritional content.

Happy Spring Equinox You beauties!

My absolute favourite time of year watching nature come back to life after many months of stillness and darkness.

The daffodils and daisies are coming back to life. Blossom trees are beginning to bloom and nature is showing us her magical beauty once more!

Spring equinox has been celebrated by our ancestors for thousands of years. As a time of rebirth, fertility and growth. A time of new beginnings. One thing I am trying to explore this year is the rituals of our ancestors and connecting back to the ancient wisdom of earth and spirit. They understood they were a part of nature and a part of an infinite force that binds us all together. A connection we are just starting to find again.

So here are some ideas to honour the spring equinox and work with the energies around us!

SEEDS OF INTENTIONS
Ask yourself
What has been tingling within you to begin?
What would you love to burst into life this spring?
What changes would you like to emerge this spring?
How do you want to grow this season?

SPRING CLEAN
Cleanse the s**t out of yourself and your home. Have an Epsom salt bath, cleansing meditation or a Reiki shower. Declutter your home, & let go of items that don't bring you joy. energetically cleanse the house!
Review what has happened for you over winter and ask yourself
What am I ready to let go of? What relationships/beliefs/habits/items?

Spring Alter
An alter is a beautiful way to connect with the energy of spring and make offerings to the spirits of spring.
You can add crystals such as carnelian, sunstone or aventurine. Place flowers such as tulips or daffodils. A decorated egg for fertility & vibrancy. And add pictures of what you would love to birth or grow this spring.

Reiki Stands for Universal Life Force Energy.

Science has confirmed that 95% of the universe is made up of dark energy and matter that flows through all things, including us humans. Part of this unknown energy has always been a part of spiritual wisdom, so what is this energy? This energy is known by many names across difficult cultures

Japan - Ki
China - Qi
Sanskrit - Prana
Christianity - Light/Holy Ghost
Western world - Life force

It is the energy that gives us LIFE! When our ki, life force energy is low, or there is a disruption or blockage in the flow of ki, the energy body becomes depleted and weakened - which too affects the individual's health and wellbeing, This can leave a person feeling weak, tired, lethargic, depleted, down and more vulnerable to illness and disease, This is where Reiki comes in.

Reiki tops the body up with universal life-force energy. Balancing and cleansing the chakras, washing away stagnant energy, and blockages. Which reinstates a healthy flow and level of ki within the energy body. This subsequently kick starts the body's natural healing ability, helping physical healing and pain relief to take place. As well as heals the recipient on the emotional & mental layer.
