As it is runners season upon some of you, are you looking after your feet if you are training for a half marathon/marathon??

I often get asked about black toenails- The most common among runners is bruising or slight bleeding under the nail from repetitive trauma of the top of the shoe striking the nail with each step or the toe sliding forward into the end of the shoe.

It is tempting for women to pop some varnish over these toes but while this does improve the look of the nail, it does not allow the nail to breathe, and you may risk losing the nail.

I don't promise to get rid of this problem but maybe able to help with pre and post run management!
