On 21 March, choose some socks that are going to get you noticed to start a conversation. So, when people ask you about your socks, you can tell them, “I’m wearing them to raise awareness of Down syndrome”. Find out more here: https://www.worlddownsyndromeday.org/lots-of-socks-campaign

Health is wealth 💪🏼🫐

David has been chopping up his favourite fruits and blending them into a smoothie. It looks delicious and full of goodness!

Supporting people to make healthy choices and enjoy preparing their own food is just one of the ways we promote independence and wellbeing in our supported living services.

This week, we are celebrating some amazing women.💜

We asked our colleagues to share the women in Aspire who inspire them.

From supporting others and volunteering, to showing confidence, kindness, and independence, each of these women brings something special to their community.

We are so proud to recognise and celebrate them. Happy (belated) International Women's Day.

A fun collaboration with . 🐓🐾🐷

Brierley recently had the opportunity to visit the Animal Centre at . From the smiles in the photos, you can clearly see how much everyone enjoyed the experience.

Thank you to Eccles College for such a welcoming and enjoyable visit. We look forward to more opportunities like this in the future. 💛

Yesterday St George's Community Hub celebrated World Book Day.

The theme was bedtime stories. Everyone came dressed in their pyjamas, and during the week we made bookmarks as part of our arts and crafts activities.

Spring bulbs are starting to bloom at St George's Community Hub🌷

Our gardening sessions with Callum, our Green Spaces Co-ordinator, are always great fun and full of useful tips.

Not long now until we can enjoy these sessions outside in the sunshine.

On Sunday it was International Wheelchair Day so we thought it would be a good time to highlight the importance of accessibility and safe support for people who use wheelchairs.

Our teams refresh their Moving & Handling e-learning annually, with practical training every two years (or sooner if required). Our trainers also receive annual updates to keep their skills and knowledge up to date, ensuring we provide safe, support for the people we care for.

A big thank you to our team for their care, dedication, and commitment to always learning and improving.
