I love the Great North Run.

Today, the number of people who access my services is into double digits – and beyond.

It’s a race, without a doubt, but also a celebration: not just of physical achievement, but of raising money for charities close to people’s hearts.

As in previous years, I’m proud to have ex-students helping out at the finish line, providing sports therapy, sports massage and first aid.

More and more of us are running more often due to the popularity of park runs and a broader range of running clubs.
More events are also incorporating running too as can be seen with the recent growth of HYROX competitions and running being an integral part of the competition/event.
Injuries occurring from running are common but here are two that people sometimes struggle to differentiate between.
