Most people set their incline bench too steep ❌

If it feels like a shoulder press, your angle is too high.

For upper chest:

20–30° = sweet spot
30–45° = more delt involvement

Set it right.
Train with purpose.

If you’re bouncing the reps…
You’re missing the point 😅

Control your negatives and don't smash into the stops.

Set your stop point lower for full depth. Using shorter ROM here due to a knee injury - but still getting it done 😎

Our Story

At this moment in time we have over 6,000sqft of floor area, equipped with the one of the largest ranges of gym equipment of any gym in South Yorkshire.

To mention some, we have 3 Smith machines, 2 Power racks, 3 Olympic bench stations, 9 chest stations/machines plus 2 dipping stations, 2 cable crossover stations, 11 back stations/machines plus chinning bar AND assisted dip/chin, 4 shoulder machines, Biceps/triceps stations, 7 adjustable benches, 8 specialist leg stations, 6 Hamstring/Glute stations, 3 dedicated calf machines, 4 small increment dumbbell racks, 8 cardio stations including treadmills, cross-trainers, steppers and step-mills, plus much, much more!!!

The total area is divided into 3 large gym’s along with a dedicated Leg and Power Room for the competitive lifter with access to specialist bars, heavier dumbbells, chains, bands and many other ‘toys’.

Natural light is in abundance here, with long galleried windows coupled with lots of skylights…no dingey cellar training here!
