Why self critique is so important!

I regularly tell my clients to film their training sessions. Not for the purpose of posting, but for self awareness and critique. Even if yoi delete the video after you watched it back. There is so much value in looking at the slight changes in form rep to rep and set to set. And improving your ability to identify areas for improvement, and making changes to correct them.

Combine
150g Oats
150g Peanut Butter
100g Choc Chips
100g Whey Powder
50g Honey
200ml Milk

Grease Paper

Bake at 220 for 15 to 20 mins

More eccentric and tempo work, on lower body today.

It's been a long time since I've had leg day jelly legs like this!!!

Over 12 months of being programmed by and he still feeds me new exercises and challenges!

I am currently fully booked for one to one training and have had to turn a few people away recently.

I have therefore decided to refresh my online training programme structure, and offer three levels to suit all needs.

Bronze is my cookie cutter programme focusing on strength training. Ideal for those who have some gym experience already, looking to add some structure and progression to their training

Silver is a bespoke programme, written specifically to your goals, with ongoing ammendments if required. Ideal for experienced gym goes looking to take their training up a level, or aiming towards a competition.

Gold is my premium package. A programme tailored specifically to you. With a weekly check in. Video technique critiques and daily support. This covers all levels from a complete newbie to strength training, to an experienced competitor looking to overcome a plateau or push for higher competition placings.

Why are you waiting until January?

Today is November 12.

There are 50 days until January 1st.

If you eat 3x per day, that's 150 meals.

Works night out = 1 meal

Christmas Day/boxing day = 4 meals

New Years Day = 1 meal

Parties? 5 days? = 5 meals.

Total Holiday Period = 11 meals.

Are you waiting for January 1st to start your journey because of 11 meals out of a possible 150?

Whilst I discourage waiting till a Monday to start new goals.. The reality is, most people will do that.

Snippet of today's training, now I've started off season programme.

Winter goals are Deadlift, log press and grip strength.

Lots of work with eccentric, tempo and increased time under tension. Looking forward to pushing the numbers up 😁
