Judges praised our intergenerational links and highlighted the Parklands Pathway Fund, which last year supported around 15 grassroots projects in sport, education, wellbeing, sustainability and social inclusion – an investment in local communities that will make a difference for years to come.

We’re proud to have supported Cromarty Youth Café in delivering a year of inspiring intergenerational activities.

A highlight has been “Getting to Know Your Techno”, where young volunteers help older people build digital confidence with phones, tablets and laptops. The project has proved hugely popular — connecting generations, boosting confidence and reducing isolation.

Other activities have included mix & mingle sessions with care home residents, dementia awareness training for young leaders, and community lunches bringing people of all ages together.
