🌡️ Flu cases in hospitals are at record levels for this time of year!
✅ Get vaccinated if you’re eligible
✅ Take extra care around older or vulnerable family members
💉 Already, 18 million people have had their flu vaccine this season. While the vaccine doesn’t prevent every case of flu, it greatly reduces the risk of serious illness, hospitalisation, and complications - especially for older adults and those with health conditions.
If you haven’t had yours yet, it’s not too late to get protected.

🌍 Today is World AIDS Day 🌍

World AIDS Day is a global movement to unite people in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Since 1988, communities have stood together to show strength and solidarity against HIV stigma and to remember lives lost.

📊 Did you know?

In the UK, more than 105,000 people are living with HIV.
Globally, an estimated 38 million people live with the virus.
Over 35 million lives have been lost to HIV/AIDS-related illnesses in the past 40 years.

Medical advances mean people with HIV can live long, healthy lives—and we have the tools to stop HIV transmissions for good.

The Red Ribbon, created in 1991, is the universal symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV. It represents compassion, love, and solidarity.

✨ Today, let’s shine a light on the real experiences of people living with HIV, celebrate resilience, and inspire leadership for a future where HIV doesn’t stand in the way of anyone’s life.

❤️ Wear your Red Ribbon.
🕯 Honour loved ones lost.
📢 Spread awareness.
