Today our residents took part in their regular armchair exercise class, keeping active in a way that works for them. In the afternoon, they rolled up their sleeves for a jam tart baking session – a fun and tasty way to end the day!

This afternoon residents enjoyed a relaxed afternoon watching the tennis, with strawberries, cream, and a glass of Pimms to get into the Wimbledon spirit! 🍓🥂

☕ Standon Moments 🥐

Yesterday, residents gathered in the morning for a relaxed social coffee morning, a relaxed atmosphere with good company and plenty of tea, coffee and treats. In the afternoon, they rolled up their sleeves and got creative with some delicious pastry twists – a fun (and tasty) way to spend the day!

🎉 Standon House Weekly Recap! 🌼

The past few days have been lovely here at Standon House, with plenty to enjoy! Residents spent some time in the sunshine with tea, cakes and games in the garden, had fun making shortbread biscuits, and got competitive with a lively game of skittles, a pamper afternoon, among other activities.

We also had the pleasure of celebrating Malcolm’s 88th birthday – a special day filled with smiles and good cheer. 🎂🎈

🍷 Wine & Chocolate Afternoon at Standon House! 🍫

With the sunshine beaming outside, our residents stayed cool indoors and enjoyed a relaxing wine and chocolate afternoon in the air conditioning. Great company, sweet treats, and a chilled glass or two made for a perfect summer afternoon! ☀️😊

🐴 Lollipop Ponies Visit Standon House! 🐴

Today was a brilliant day as we welcomed back the Lollipop Ponies to Standon House! Residents, families, and staff had a great time meeting the ponies—there were plenty of strokes, a few surprised faces, and the chance to feed them some carrots. 🥕😄

A big thank you to the team for another fantastic visit—it’s always a highlight! 💖🦄

🍰 Baking Fun at Standon House! 👩‍🍳

Today our residents rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into some baking! It’s always a favourite activity - from mixing and prepping to decorating their creations, everyone enjoyed getting involved.

And of course, the best part… tucking in and enjoying the finished treats afterwards! 🧁
