Last night, we had the privilege of attending a meeting with fellow VCSE organisations, Councillors, and representatives from Tamworth Borough Council to discuss homelessness support in Tamworth.

It’s inspiring to see such strong partnerships dedicated to both preventing homelessness and addressing the immediate needs of those in crisis.

A huge well done to Cllr. Natalie Statham, Castle Ward, Tamworth for organising this important gathering. The determination of everyone present, truly reflects the care and compassion within our community.

The good news? Collaboration will continue! Cllr Natalie Statham has already committed to holding the next meeting in the new year.

Tamworth truly is the town with the biggest heart, and together we’re working to support everyone who needs a safe place to call home. ♥️

💡 State Pension Age? Have you claimed Pension Credit yet? 💡

Last week we helped 13 people through our eligibility checker, and 10 of them were potentially missing out on an extra £96-£120 per week in Pension Credit – plus the additional benefits it unlocks!

Throughout October, we’re running Check and Claim sessions every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at Offa House, Orchard Street, Tamworth Town Centre (B79 7RE) from 10am to 3pm.

It only takes 25-35 minutes to check your eligibility and make a claim. Don’t miss out on what you’re entitled to—pop in and let us help you!
