Community Together CIC and our Social Prescribing Team are encouraging local residents to attend the upcoming Tamworth Memory Pathway Event — a relaxed, drop-in session where you can speak directly with professionals about the signs and symptoms of dementia.

Whether you have questions, concerns, or just want to learn more, this is a welcoming space with no need to book.

This event brings together trusted organisations including Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia Carers Time Out Club, St John Tamworth, Home Instead, and Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.

👉 Community Together CIC are urging everyone in the community to get involved — whether for yourself, a loved one, or simply to become more informed. Early conversations can make a real difference.

Today, our Operational Lead Sue and NHS Social Prescriber Carla attended the BEAT Event and Health Check 💙

BEAT stands for:
Breathless – Exhausted – Ankle Swelling – Tell your GP or Nurse

It was a fantastic event focused on raising awareness and encouraging people to take action when it comes to their health.

There were also lots of brilliant partners in the marketplace, creating opportunities for meaningful conversations, new connections, and stronger collaboration across services. Together, we’re helping to support better health outcomes for our community.

Thank you to everyone involved – it’s inspiring to see so many people working together to make a difference!

After 30 years of dedicated service to our patients and community, we are delighted to celebrate the retirement of our practice partner, Dr Davies, who retired at the end of March 2026.

Over three decades, Dr Davies has been a constant, caring presence in the practice – supporting generations of families, mentoring colleagues, and helping to shape the way we deliver care. His commitment, kindness and professionalism have made a lasting difference to so many people.

On behalf of the whole practice team and our patients, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dr Davies for his outstanding contribution and loyal service. We wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement – it is very well deserved.
