Clinicians Lewis, Emma and Usamah attended diagnostic ultrasound training at the Royal Society of Medicine in London today to learn practical skills and applications of ultrasound to aid in injury assessment. Many thanks to Danny and for hosting us. An excellent day and we would highly recommend ultrasound training for any clinicians who want to incorporate ultrasound into their clinic.

Good to catch up with this morning. Golf is accessible to any gender, any age and any ability. It is played in over 200 countries around the world. The whole musculoskeletal system is used in golf. This includes rotation of the upper body, use of the lower body to generate power from the ground, and the feet to walk approximately 5-6 miles per round. Golf is a non-contact sport meaning the main mechanism of injury is overuse. Roughly 80% of golfers will experience some form of golf-related injury over their lifetime (Gosheger, et al 2003). We can treat and help prevent any form of injury or musculoskeletal pain. Whether this be Sports Therapy or Podiatry, we can help you to keep it down the middle!
